The Stroke Comeback Center is a community based non profit organization that provides programs for stroke families in a supportive, caring environment. We are the only Center of its kind in the Washington, DC area.
Our Center:
Provides communication services that are tailored to meet each member’s personal needs
Picks up where traditional health care coverage leaves off
Helps survivors achieve their personal best regardless of their ability to pay or their recovery timelines
Builds communication for life using a group, social approach
Uses technology to assist in recovery
Believes in involving the entire family
Provides educational training for students
Has received national recognition for our accomplishments and innovation
Provides a comfortable, home-away-from-home atmosphere
